Meet Kimberly

Founder of Social Sniffers | Canine Development | Fear Free® Certified Professional

I created Social Sniffers to support puppies, adolescent dogs, and their families through some of the most important stages of development. My approach blends learning theory, developmental science, enrichment, and emotional well-being to help dogs build confidence, practical life skills, and resilience through trust, not pressure.

My career in the pet industry has included managing a pet hotel, working in grooming, supporting clients in veterinary settings, and responsibly breeding and raising Golden Retriever litters. From whelping and early socialization through adolescence, these experiences gave me an invaluable foundation in canine development and the human-animal bond. Early work traveling with a professional handler also shaped my appreciation for temperament, structure, and clear communication.

Today, I bring those experiences together through a positive, Fear Free® approach that looks beyond individual behaviors to the whole dog. I use thoughtfully chosen real-life experiences, enrichment, exploration, and gentle structure to help dogs learn, problem-solve, regulate their emotions, and feel safe and capable in the world around them.

I believe the best outcomes happen when we work together as a team, meeting each dog where they are and supporting both the dog and the people who love them along the way.

Outside of Social Sniffers, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and dogs, enjoying the outdoors, walking, paddle boarding, kayaking, or participating in dog sports like Fast CAT®.
